Costs
What does an appraisal cost?
The honest answer: in most cases nothing – at least not for you.
Accident you did not cause
The opposing liability insurer pays the expert's fee. Under § 249 BGB you are entitled to your own independent expert. No advance payment, no invoice to you.
Damage you caused yourself
Your comprehensive insurance usually covers this. We clarify with you in advance whether reporting it makes economic sense or whether the premium increase costs more.
Minor damage under approx. €750
Below this threshold insurers usually do not pay for a full appraisal. A cost estimate is then sufficient – fast, affordable, adequate.
Valuation, defect & lease reports
You commission these privately. You receive a binding fixed price in advance – with no hidden items.
